Symphonic Distribution Mourns Media Personality, Ife Ajagbe

 

A global leader in music distribution, Symphonic Distribution has expressed condolence in memory of a former OAP and popular music influencer, Ife Ajagbe who died after a brief illness.

 

In a statement posted on Instagram, Ife Ajagbe who was Head of Operations for Symphonics West Africa was credited for playing an integral part in expanding Symphonic’s presence on the continent.

 

“Ife reminded us that music is not just a business; it is a bridge that connects people, cultures and stories,” the statement reads. “Her leadership not only grew our footprint in West Africa but also deepened the sense of community within Symphonic.”

 

“We honour her memory by continuing the work she believed in, by lifting one another up and by listening more closely to the music that united us all.”

 

Before her demise on December 21, 2025, at the age of 38, she was a host on Kennis 104.1 FM and had previously worked with other radio stations, including Gold 95.5 FM and Metro 97.7 FM. As the Head of Operations for Symphonic West Africa, she worked on digital music distribution, artist development, and A&R services.

 

Ajagbe is survived by her husband, Lanre Olupona and son.
