Sponsored by Nigeria LNG, the Nigeria Prize for Literature is awarded to a Nigerian author for outstanding work in prose, poetry, drama, or children’s literature (rotated annually).
Supported by the Rainbow Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting reading and literacy across Nigeria, and whose work helped Port Harcourt earn the title of UNESCO World Book Capital in 2014.
The Book Fest not only celebrates the shortlisted authors but also underscores the city’s rich literary heritage and vibrant culture. It promises to be a memorable celebration of Nigerian literature and excellence.
