Every week comes with its own unique challenges. We are either working harder at our jobs, searching for new ones or planning to quit the current one. Whatever the case maybe, we often look forward to the weekend to see how we can recharge our batteries for yet another busy week ahead.
The weekend can be fun if you have plans on what to do to make it enjoyable. Here are four ideas for a relaxing weekend.
Playlist Update
You can update your playlist by removing some songs and adding new ones. You may even be shocked to discover more artists around the world that make incredibly wholesome music that you can play in your car while taking your children to school. You can also curate some for-your-ears-only songs for personal enjoyment. Perhaps, they can be songs that are unpopular but that you enjoy listening to without opinions drowning the good flow of the music.
Gardening
The rains are pouring again and there’s no better time to make the earth a better place. When you start growing fresh vegetables and peppers, you can feed your family. But if you just want to decorate your home, you can invest your time and resources in beautiful flowers that suit your home landscape.
Try A New Dish
Don’t be so hooked on chicken. This weekend, try some snails and lobster. And if you are not a fan of seafood, try cow leg or pork. You can also do a drive to a fish market and buy what you can.
Draw out a new menu plan for the week that will work with your schedule. Arrange light meals for work hours to prevent sleeping on duty.
Decluttering
You can spend this weekend decluttering your home. Are there some sections of the house or your apartment that need to be decongested or kept clean? You can take yourself on a full spin in your wardrobe and garage and clean up real good.
