- Media personality, Tacha Reacts to Allegation of Bullying
The Queen of Afrobeats, Tiwatope Omolara Savage popularly known as Tiwa Savage has filed a petition before the Lagos State Police Command against her colleague in the music business, David Adeleke known widely by his stage name, Davido.
In a letter dated January 9, 2024, Savage claimed that on December 23rd, she posted a picture of herself and Sophie Momodu on Instagram. The latter who happened to be Davido’s babymama had been in a lingering feud with the grammy-nominated singer for allegedly being “unavailable” to their love child and Davido’s first born, Imade.
After this post, Davido was reported to have expressed some anger in a message laden with insults and disrespectful remarks.
Savage, in the said petition addressed to the State Commissioner for Police, maintained that Davido had continued to send threats of assault and bodily harm to her, family and members of her team, online and offline.
She stated: “The actions of Mr Davido Adeleke are unethical and can be seen as a direct threat to my rights to life, privacy and dignity as guaranteed by Chapter 4 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and also in contravention of section 24(2) a of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention etc) Act 2015.”

Savage urges the Nigeria Police to hold Davido responsible if anything harmful happens to her and her family due to these barrage of threats.
In reaction to this move by Tiwa, media personality Tacha tweeted on X:
“Na dem rush go Mohbad’s candle night OHH!! But they’re bigger bullies!!! iTs NOT ME!!! Big 2024!! will call out any magas BS! Nobody dey feed anybody.”
In the tweet written in pidgin, she accused Davido of being bully and a hypocrite for promptly showing up at Mohbad’s candlelight and memorial concert in Lagos.
Police has confirmed the receipt of the petition. More details later.
