The new album by Afrobeats musician, Davido titled ‘Timeless’ is set for release on March 31st. Featuring collaborative tracks and solo recordings, the album fever has already spread around his fans across the social media platforms. This news is well received after the artist went on hiatus to mourn the loss of his son, Ifeanyi in 2022.
The 30-year-old American-Nigerian singer has released a trailer to announce the Timeless album, Davido is seen writing a letter, meditating on his personal experiences while alluding to the book of Eccelesiastes.
Davido’s last public appearance was his performance at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The Atlanta-born artist was part of the production of the Official Soundtrack of the iconic World Cup alongside American singer Trinidad Cardona and Qatari singer, Aisha.
Davido is one of the most popular Afrobeats artists from Nigeria and a flagbearer for the music movement that is shaping the cultural landscape across the world. In January 2019, Davido sold out ‘The 02 Arena’ in London making him the first solo African artist to do so.
